This is a role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves video storytelling, and is exceptionally good at keeping a lot of moving pieces moving in the right direction.<\/p>\n<p>The Lifestyle Producer will help produce some of Hawaii News Now\u2019s most dynamic lifestyle programming, including HI Now Daily, Kitchen Scraps, station specials, and<br \/>\nspecial projects.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Core Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Produce daily lifestyle show, segments, and station specials from concept through execution<\/li>\n<li>Manage multiple stories, shoots, guests, deadlines, and production details simultaneously<\/li>\n<li>Write, edit, and build compelling multiplatform content<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate guests, hosts, videographers, editors, and other production team members<\/li>\n<li>Create and maintain rundowns, production schedules and show materials<\/li>\n<li>Anticipate production needs and solve problems before they impact the show<\/li>\n<li>Communicate clearly with the Executive Producer, production team and other departments<\/li>\n<li>Help keep projects organized, on schedule, and moving forward<\/li>\n<li>Work collaboratively with Sales and other departments when producing sponsored and client-driven content<\/li>\n<li>Maintain high editorial and production standards across every project<\/li>\n<li>Step into changing situations quickly and remain composed when plans shift<\/li>\n<li>Be willing to jump into whatever role the production needs, including floor directing, assisting with studio and field production, coordinating talent and guests, troubleshooting or supporting teammates<\/li>\n<li>Contribute ideas and look for creative ways to make our shows and specials better<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications\/Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Our ideal candidate is a strong producer and natural organizer who works well with a team, communicates clearly, stays calm under pressure, and takes ownership from planning through execution. Just as important, we are looking for a true team player who is willing to jump in and play whatever role is needed to get the show on the air and make the product great.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What We Are Looking For:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Previous television or video producing experience<\/li>\n<li>Exceptional organizational and time management skills<\/li>\n<li>Strong writing, storytelling, and production skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines without losing attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication and collaboration skills<\/li>\n<li>Someone who takes initiative, follows through, and can be counted on<\/li>\n<li>Excellent judgment and problem-solving skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to perform well under pressure in a deadline-driven environment<\/li>\n<li>A positive, team-focused approach and a willingness to pitch in wherever needed<\/li>\n<li>Experience with ENPS preferred<\/li>\n<li>Experience producing studio, field, or lifestyle programming is a plus<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Success in This Role:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Success means being someone the team can rely on.<\/li>\n<li>You are organized and prepared.
