Candidates must have a strong knowledge of videography, video editing, and storytelling, and be very familiar with all the equipment associated with the craft. Candidates need to be comfortable with working under deadlines and working with sales clients.
Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Daily shooting and editing of 3-4 minute packages for a daily LIVE Lifestyle show.
- Available for live shooting during shows and other events or productions.
- Candidates must be great communicators and should have natural leadership skills.
- Candidates must be able to sift through complicated issues and provide clarity to viewers and digital news consumers.
- Newscasts are fast-paced, “Happening Now” newscasts, filled with LIVE reports and breaking news from anywhere.
- Adjusting to situations is key, and thinking uniquely to break events to contribute as needed.
- Multi-tasking is key as you will be juggling many things at once
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in film, photography, television, news, or related field, or equivalent professional experience. (Not required, but preferred)
- Strong knowledge of Adobe Premier Edit Suite.
- Experienced with Adobe Creative Suite: Premier, Photoshop
- Demo reel is required
- Ability to prioritize and address multiple projects with varying production timelines
- Experienced in still photography preferred but not required
- Must be energetic, positive, and great to work with
- Must be a highly motivated self-starter, able to work well alone and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
